Submission + - From the Zero Point to Infinity

Sterling D. Allan writes: "After holding it to their chest for over a year, the Nova Institute of Technology has allowed their fruitful scientific monograph to be published. Y-Bias and Angularity: Self-Organizing Criticality — From the Zero Point to Infinity describes a newly developed model of scalar physics that incorporates all the rules of self-organizing criticality [P. Bak et al] into a simple, elegant framework. As a technology incubator company, they say that based on the precepts included in this new model, they "have successfully developed, tested and independently verified four entirely new materials, including (1) a positively charged ZnO2 thin film, (2) a transparent electrically conductive thin film with virtually no capacitance and ambient resistance of less than 2 ohms per square, regardless of surface area, (3) a semi-conductor-based thermal electric generator that converts heat to electrical power at efficiencies ranging between 38% — 45%, between temperatures ranging from 1C — 240C, and (4) a new material that has been shown to fluoresce, emit and lase across the visible spectrum [tunable] in nano-particle sizes, using direct electrical stimulation rather up or down pumping.""

Submission + - Apply for New Energy Prototype Develpment Funding

Sterling D. Allan writes: "The Phoenix Science Foundation was established recently to fund clean energy technology prototype development, for those ideas that have not yet been proven. The stage of building the first prototype is where many good ideas flounder due to lack of funding. Brooks Agnew, Ph.D., who established the foundation, plans to bring a stack of these new product applications to Washington D.C. beginning Jan. 10 to massage some of the contacts he has there. He has extensive experience bringing prototypes to maturation, having successfully done so with twenty-four consecutive situations in various fields. Additionally, he is responsible for around half a billion dollars in process improvement, achieving a "six sigma blackbelt" distinction for his abilities and performance in that regard. The New Energy Congess will be assisting the Phoenix Science Foundation screen the applications that are submitted. An form was posted online yesterday for receiving aplications."

Submission + - Magnet Power Device Now Commercially Available

Sterling D. Allan writes: "After 20 years of closely-guarded development, the Energy-By_Motion (EBM) technology is now going commercial. The devices harness a free magnetic phenomena to produce clean, abundant energy. After starting, the unit feeds enough energy back to itself to keep going, and puts out plenty extra by way of heat and torque. The proprietary principle involves "keeping the flux state going", and has to do with "a specially-shaped asymmetrical magnetic field." Open house laboratory in Hungary allows on-site inspection through the end of November."

Submission + - Skateboard Turbo Trucks -- Powered by Magnets

Sterling D. Allan writes: "Skateboarders may soon be able to ride around 30% farther, faster, and longer for each push of their board, thanks to a magnet power design that James Morris is taking to market. It is a unidirectional effect, though. Push the skateboard forward, and it goes much further in that direction than otherwise. Push it backward, and it the magnets have a braking effect. Different from the recent Steorn free energy claim, Morris' permanent magnet motor axle is a "power assist" scenario. Slated to arrive on the market by the first of November."

Submission + - Magnecules and Energy

Sterling D. Allan writes: "A new form of matter is described and said to be experimentally verified, by which sewage and other waste (or actually any fluid input) can be converted into a burnable fuel. Dr. Rugerro Santilli, formerly of Harvard, funded by five DOE grants, describes the process which involves a high-powered arc in which atoms are joined magnetically, not through valence. Such "magnecules" that emerge as a gas, coined "MagneGas" can be burned, supposedly more cleanly and efficiently than hydrogen gas. Skeptics do not agree with the claim of new matter, and say there are more efficient, comparable energy methods available."
