There just isn't any particular skin color that a mermaid is _supposed_ to have. They're fantasy creatures.
A mermaid in another story, sure. But this story was written in 19th century Denmark. If Andersen's intent was for her to have an exotic appearance, he would have mentioned that. As this was not the case, logically she looked inconspicuous among Northern Europeans.

Not saying Sony is an angel, but Sega just fucked up. The Saturn was a weaker 3D hardware than the PS, too expensive to produce, and more difficult to develop for. And the way they rushed the American launch, angering several retailers and giving Sony a perfect chance to undercut them, was ludicrous.
Sounds like a good time to dump Windows entirely and upgrade to Linux.
A few years ago, they fired their operations director for pointing at the safety problems and refusing to proceed without proper testing.
After every major disaster, notice this. Almost always, warnings were disregarded, regulations were ignored, corners were cut. True accidents, completely unpredictable, are very rare.
I haven't watched it, but people say the theatrical release was butchered and the director's cut is a huge improvement.
