The poor are definitely not meant to get out of that loop. Keeping them in that loop keeps the money flowing towards the rich.
Ever notice that the less money you have in the bank, the more often you pay ATM fees? If I have $20k in my checking account, I withdraw the maximum amount of cash to carry for a week or so. If I had say, $1000 or less, I'd be taking out $20 at a time and paying for it each time. It's silly. The poorer you are, the more expensive it is to get at your money.
Women with 1.5 kids can't work full time and can't live on part time wages without some help. Even if they have a functioning ex-husband who's paying child support, they're living on the edge of broke all the time. This is most of the women I know who are around my age and had bad marriages. I can count maybe 5 white women I know offhand who are hard working, dedicated, smart and will never be able to afford a house to live in at this rate. Growing up they lived in 3-4 bedroom houses on one working-class salary.
Now you'd have to have 2 upper-middle income salaries to afford a 3-bedroom house.
