Communist policies only work until they run out of other people's money. When you redistribute wealth, you reduce the total wealth and GDP of the entire country. When you tax people who work and give money to people who don't work, you get a very large number of people who don't work, increasing continuously until the entire system collapses. The unemployment rate, especially among the youth, is permanently high, thanks to their horrible government policies.
