Seriously wtf.. Trump is the first president to use social media as a replacement for actually talking to the press and nation at large.

Twitter and facebook should have banned him for disinformation back during the birther bs. They don't care what he says, they only care about the bottom line and now that his coup failed they're free to dump him.

"#JackDorsey...you will die a bloddy death alongside Mark Suckerturd [Zuckerberg]....It has been decided and plans are being put in place. Remember the photographs inside your home while you slept? Yes, that close. You will die a sudden death!"

Is that enough proof? Can we stop whining about censorship now? This kind of thing is clearly illegal.

Amazon warned them to start removing content that contained death threats and calls for violence. They did not do so. They got removed because of that.

What it if someone made a chat app where people sold crack or traded child porn, and when warned to remove that content, they ignore the warning. Should Amazon continue hosting it in the name of free speech? Would they not also be liable in a lawsuit for knowing about said illegal content and not removing?

It was the active calls for violence and death threats that were actively being ignored and left up despite being notified of these posts. Those are actual crimes and if you ignore criminal behavior like that you should be slapped down hard.

You can host a forum for free exchange of ideas...but if members start selling crack on it and you don't remove them and/or the content when informed of it, you deserve to be de-platformed. It's really that simple.
