Submission + - The plastic that can withstand a Nuclear Blast (telegraph.co.uk)

nibbles2004 writes: an article on the guardian website about the plastic called "Starlite", the 20 year plastic that can withstand a Nuclear blast and that no one has heard of.
The Inventor Maurice Ward has never been able to successfully commercialise the Material even with interest from Boeing, BAE and NASA, What are the implication's if "starlite" ever made it to market ?

whether is has a public or private address is nothing to do with scarcity of IP but need and suitability and there a lot of IP device's that do not need a public address, my printer for starters, don't need to manage it from the outside, don't need to print to if from outside. Plain old private IP4 seems to work fine and dandy.

All relates to the future economic world is gonna be like no one expected, China , India are really gonna suffer in terms of development, you need less and less people to do more and more stuff, the days of production lines with 10 of 1000's are coming to an end. There will not be the numbers of employment in manufacturing need, not just for the US, Europe but for the 800 million strong workforces of China and India, interesting times ahead.
