Do you really think T2 was not put there exclusively for DRM?
> hey could have paid higher wages, guaranteed health care coverage, and made sure everyone had a place to sleep and food to eat. They still would have been ungodly wealthy. But instead they screwed over most workers, and overplayed their hand.
C'mon, everyone here is an engineer. See the entire system!
The people at the top do no magically get money. They get money because people on the middle is allowed to steal/exploit a little for themselves. it's a factorial sum, where further from the top you approach to zero.
By accepting that someone can get billions, and knowing that it is impossible to get billions by one's own accord, you also accept that this chain of stealing/exploitation (oligarchy) is also allowed. And here, the alienated worker will glady receive the wip to the back because "tomorrow he can be the one making a billion"
Not to mention the corruption in the entire system.
Libraries know publishers need them more than they need publishers. Yet, no single state/library will stand up to this. They will just gladly pay up.
I honestly can't say if you are making a joke or if you are so out of touch with reality you are assuming people are starving because they can't realize they can eat cake when out of bread.
> ARM
> They sell to APPL.
I guess softbank is targeting all the amateur investors who dream of this connection. APPL strong armed ARM (heh) into a lifetime fixed license fee.
If tomorrow the entire world buy apple phone, laptop, refrigerator and cars, ARM will not see a single penny more.
anyone have a copy of the Daimler ones? it's gone.
and probably all that was exactly the infomercial he recorded and now hi manager decided to distance because it was watched in the US, not only in Asia as the many other infomercials he recorded before.
only place where instead of solving the problem (cable provider's state sponsored monopoly) companies drop billions to try to make other billions in profit on top.
Nvidia produces most of its products on Taiwan.[0] And their very low end and low volume mainland china.
CCP is probably forcing their hand to move more highend/highvolume production to mainland, to boost china-2025 program.
Nvidia is maneuvering this by buying ARM, and effectively having lots of production on mainland.
Some group in the CCP do not like that compromise and Allen Wu is in it.
IEEE now blindly reprint press-releases from shady companies selling fear-mongering anti boogeyman terrorist A.I.?
"innovation" on those investment lists have a different meaning, which is: "innovation: v. To spend capital in a way that moves revenue from one cost center to another, newly created, cost center"
The same people behind every other app, selling the same data to the same North American Advertisement networks, but this time using the referral code that sends the revenue cut to a chinese company.
No knowledge is dangerous.
Case in point, the research on how to safely replicate this exact type of virus as the first step for vaccine research, made in sweden 7yrs ago iirc, was censored by some united states anti-terrorism made-up claims. Go figure out how many labs are having to came up with their own hacky shortcuts today to get into the gold race now.
Ah, american puritanism at its finest.
that's the stupid reason for social money, which is devised by smart economists to foster local business, regardless of what they are. Social money accepts that the market serves itself. It's just a small push to focus the spend locally, much like actual money does in a country scale. Everyone deserve to buy their drugs, just do it locally and the social money worked it purpose.
