I know it's very fashionable to have allergies these days but a tummy ache is not anaphylaxis. Try taking it with food next time.

Anaphylaxis is not the only allergic reaction. Not even the only life threatening one. And NVD (Nausa, vomiting, diarrhea) during a respiratory illness is very deadly.

Yes, they ignore the fact that those un-immunized 15% gave a nice reservoir for the illness to mutate and develop stronger strains, like illnesses do. And lets not bring in the fact that most Americans have piss poor immune systems to begin with, and the shots just make one facet stronger, not invincible.

1) Just re-assign multicast!

Silly, and amusing, but possible. :)

2) Hey, they don't appear to be using those addresses, let's take those!

Very valid. There is a /8 assigned to packet radio operation... Not common, and not often connected to the actual Internet anymore. Oh, and not paid for at all.

3) Double/Triple-NAT is good enough for me and everyone else!

I am with you here. Especially that nasty NAT abomination in 2Wire routers "DMZ Plus Mode."

4) Let's give out one IP address to everyone and we'll be set for awhile!

Never heard that one...

5) Let's make a new protocol!

That is how IPv6 came about. But then again, look how it turned out...

6) IPv6 addresses are too big to remember!

Very valid point. Especially when your ISP DNS craps out and you can actually remember 4.2.2.2 or 8.8.8.8 or 198.6.1.1 without the Internet to look it up.

7) You just need to sell it better!

Huh?

And if you have perscription lenses in your Google glas, when they make you take it off, you see... Well... Some of the movie... Kinda...

The problem is bandwidth. How do you get all that data down the wire? The original Korean high def 2550s used Dual DVI, essentially 2 cables. This worked, but was poorly supported. The Seiki 4k is HDMI 1.4, so it is stuck at 30hz. To get 60hz, you need HDMI 2.0, and that is far from common right now. Then you start looking at bus speeds... 4k 120hz is a LOT of data.
