Because I seriously think only the first one you mentioned comes close to being warranted in being marked a flame - though granted, it probably would only be offensive to some Scientology supporters, though I personally consider them somewhat rabid to start with so I think everyone can expect that kind of behavior anyhow...

Now as for the rest of the ones you mention above, I think it's just a sad commentary on how polarized people in our culture have gotten. They just seem to want to lash out at anyone who disagrees with their point of view while throwing compromise & reason-ability out along with the baby and bath water. And most likely another symptom of the downward trend of the IQ arrow upon the internet.
