What does the prime contractor have to do with it? Marine One is contracted to an American company, but the Aircraft is built by a European company.

I've been trying to convince my red-neck family of that for YEARS. My daughter's mother bought her two swimsuits from Wal-mart for $20 a piece. Each wore out in a week. I then bought her one from a sporting goods store for $40 that lasted over a year. Of course, I got an earful because I wasted money ($40 for a swimsuit?!). Sigh.

I know you are joking, but I worked with a guy that would do this. After he sent the executable to a customer, he would test the feature. Then, he would frantically call the customer, and tell them not to put the software in use, because it didn't work. He would repeat the process 3 or 4 times before getting the feature to work.
