Strange. I always thought he was a giant fart.
But what if for 100 out of 99 times that he used his penis it was for rape? Should we ban him then?
Can it correctly render Slashdot now?
Don't blame what you see on Opera. Strangely enough, that is actually the intended design.
Ferrari can get away with that because they can charge 5 or 10 times the cost of a KIA. Will you be willing to pay $300 - $600 for one game?
Slashdot was always the best place to get news about Microsoft.
Most people are perfectly comfortable with Windows.
If the word gets out that you can take off $65 of the laptop price by calling Amazon and asking for a refund without anyone actually checking that you are not using your Windows license, more people will start doing exactly that. That is when Amazon will come up with a better process for handling Windows refunds.
A lot depends on how many more people ask Amazon for a refund for an unwanted Windows license!!
The moment people will find out that they can both keep the license and get a refund.
Without Direct X support you cannot play any games on a windows VM (perhaps OpenGL based games but I haven't tried any and it's not like they are abundant anyway). You also can't use any of the fancy Aero effects in Vista and 7.
Or you can just hover your mouse pointer over the link and see where it goes.
And BTW the paranoia level here is ridiculous.
Everything today is stored in the registry. For me, a re installation of everything I use would probably take around 3 hours not to mention all the configuring. I'd rather do it once then twice.
I see many people telling that they moved to the RC permanently. However, from what I am reading there would be no upgrade path from RC to RTM. Are all of you people planning to reinstall everything when RTM is released?
I decided to go all beta, I'm using 7 and FireFox 3.5 and no other OS installed
I understood that there isn't going to be a direct upgrade option from RC to the RTM. Are you planning to reinstall everything once your PC starts rebooting every 2 hours on March 2010?
Your Mongrel site isn't bad, by FOSS standards that is
Although I don't mind the usual look of most FOSS projects (GNU software pages are a good example), I thought his website looked quite slick and modern.
So Pinocchio was not able to verify a story posted by the Baron Munchausen.
Good day to avoid cops. Crawl to work.
