By your own definitions, we deal with too much disreputable journalism. As you delineate, bias would require acknowledgement and presentation of the opposing side, which is almost never seen in modern journalism.

Use of capitalization to transform adjectives into proper noun slogans... 'Truthful, Accurate and Well tempered'.. ranks about the same as 'Fair and Balanced'

Of course, we wouldn't be approaching a YEAR of lockdown in some places if people would have just stayed home and worn their damn masks as requested in the first place. This whole thing is dragging out and making resuming normal life even more difficult to re-initiate because the coronavirus has now spent enough time in the population to evolve even more virulent variants.

how effective can lockdowns be when 40-45% of the workforce is considered essential and can't 'lockdown'. A 60% lockdown was never going to be successful.

Apple / Google / AWS have exercised monopoly power to remove Parlor from both common app marketplaces and the internet at large. Regardless of justification for the removal, it's concerning that this power really has no oversight. I predict this will be used in the anti-trust actions against these corporations and result in further regulation.

You don't like the walled garden. Many people do like the walled garden. Enough in fact to make Apple one of the largest companies in the world. If Apple sold 2 models of iPhone one with the walled garden model and the other without a walled garden.. The walled garden would still be the most popular. Plenty of people want a curated tech experience. They want it to just work, not have to figure out how to make it work.

social media companies get special protection from 230. That protection seems to imply they can be the new 'town square' where public discourse is being allowed not only by their business plan, but also by the governmental regulations they function under. They assume more responsibility for 1st amendment free speech protection, because of that government regulation. It's disingenuous to claim they are only private actors in this setting.

I prefer my social media, to be 'social'. I down rank and hide news media, promoted posts, business advertisements, etc.

Without a vaccine, COVID-19 will eventually infect the majority of people on Earth. And while they will overwhelmingly survive, that small fatality rate multiplied by billions people would make it the most effective killer of humans in history.

Black Death in the middle ages killed an estimated 22% of the world population. COVID19 is barely a contender on that scale.
