Can you really compare the social response of people to the failure of one economical system based on political context? If you can tell apples are sweeter than lemons based on their color, tell me why comparing two types of licences that promote freedom with one of them requiring equality of freedom as analogy to the communist ideology in economic systems versus capitalist approach is such a nuisance to you, just enough to miss the joke?
