I'm with this guy, completely.
And I'll add, saying "That movie sucks!" and not adding why you think so means one of two things as far as I'm concerned you either;
A. Disagree with anything just to start a flame
B. Are a sheeple and follow the group with the loudest voice

In reality I'm sure its a bit of both in most cases.

To the point of the topic, I was not interested in seeing Avatar in the beginning. "Oh boy, another story of forced relocation, and this time of blue monkeys that yip and hoot like Native Americans"
In the end, a friend took me to Avatar 3D for my birthday. It was my first modern 3D movie and it was 3 hours of awesome affects, awesome 3D, and a story uniquely spun, and original enough to be enjoyable at least.
To hear that the special edition does not add much is kind of sad in my opinion.

I RTA, but I havent read all the comments so I am sorry if this is out of context, but why do you say "we are that close to reaching the 'edge' of the universe" Just because we found something, reportedly, 9.6 billion light years away and the universe is 13.7 billion years old, does not mean we are nearing the edge, rather we would be nearing the center right?

DRM... well we can only hope but given most of the rest of the industry...
Lack of LAN support... honestly who gives a crap if Blizz comes through with features in Battle.net to make up for it as they have indicated
Splitting games into multiple parts... yeah this is really a huge huge deal, i honestly cant think of any other games that are releasing as episodic content, and the fact that these multiple parts will be full length game is just a terrible idea

Boycott Starcraft II... really? Good luck with that
a) There are far to many people who realize that the complaints such as you have logged are either minor (lack of LAN support, Battle.net features should compensate) or completely insane (breaking the game into 3 parts is a bad thing, 3 full length games > 1 full length game)
b) There are far to many Blizzard fan boys for this

Nearly everyone on this topic that is against what Microsoft did is ignoring the point in one way or another. This IS NOT about whether you can or cannot mod your Xbox. This IS NOT about a canceled subscription without refund. There IS NOT legal precedent that supersedes the XBL EULA regarding this ban. What this is about is the FACT that Microsoft has a LEGALLY BINDING, AGREED TO BY YOU agreement stating that you CANNOT USE your modded Xbox on the XBL network. As many others have said and many arent paying attention to, go get on a non-modded Xbox and sign into your still existing account. If YOU chose to mod your Xbox, YOU chose to ignore the EULA, YOU payed for games or participated in content/services requiring XBL than YOU are the only one to blame.

Umm, have you played FFXXII? Its about as close to non-turn based combat as you can get and still stay true to Final Fantasy. FF3, FFVII, FFXII and FFIX are my favorites, in that order. I'll admit characters are often cheesy, and I'd love for an open-ended type of Final Fantasy. Here's hoping FFXIII is worthwhile
