SSH sessions are the worst example of a stable internet connection. Start a session, unplug your cable for some time and plug it back in. You will see that your session is still intact. You can have the shittiest connection of all time and your SSH session will work flawlessly.

OK. Your choice. Believe in it. But look it up and compare to CO2 levels 2 thousand or more years ago. They were higher than today and they were lower than today. I don't see the 3%-5% CO2 addition by humans to have such an effect. The problem here is the money involved. There is a whole economy out there living on the fear of people like yoo who just believe. Imagine Obama saying: "Lets just kill this multimillion dollar, multimillion job economy and move the f*** on." I don't see it.

Trevor DeRiza writes: "Today, Valve and EA revealed that this week's earlier rumors were true: Spore (and other EA games) are coming to Steam. As of today, Spore, Spore Creepy & Cute Parts Pack, Warhammer Online, Mass Effect, Need for Speed: Undercover, and FIFA Manager 2009 are all available for download on Steam. In the coming weeks, EA will add Mirror's Edge, Dead Space, and Red Alert 3. On the official Steam forums, when asked whether or not Spore would contain the dreaded DRM that "caused" it to be the most pirated game of 2008, a moderator replied, "It does not have third party DRM.""

People use pirated software -> companies lose money -> ...

So you are telling me, that you would buy every piece of crap the publihsers throw out, when you cannot break the copy protection??
This is stupid.
When the price is zero the demand is infinite.

The whole story about companies loosing money because of piracy is just plain wrong. Do you think everyone who uses illegal copies of software/music would buy the stuff if there were no illegal copies of it? I don't think so, Tim.
