Where did you study economic and social policy? Ayn Rand books? How is a government providing cheap power for the average citizen bad? The crypto bros taking advantage of pricing intended for citizens with excessive power consumption are the ones at fault here.

The fastest and cheapest transaction fee is currently 102 satoshis/byte.
For the median transaction size of 224 bytes, this results in a fee of 22,848 satoshis. That is around $7 per transaction! And the time it will take for such a transaction to be confirmed is around 5-15 minutes. It's completely unfit for purpose.

And crypto bros keep going on about how it will lead to 'financial privacy' (as if that isn't one of the drivers of wealth inequality), but at the same time try to convince us cryptocurrencies' main purpose isn't criminal transations (ransomware etc.) by saying that "everyone can see the transactions in the blockchain, criminals wouldn't use it". If there's an upside to crypto I haven't seen it.

Kidding, but there's nothing as 'high and mighty' as saying someone else "voted against their best interests".
Brexit was caused by a myriad of reasons, and it will take more than a couple of years to assess whether it raised wages / decreased immigration, etc.

That's all well and good but Call of Duty is notorious for bad anti-cheat leading to it being overrun with cheaters.
On the other hand, games on consoles such as PS4 and Xbox One are pretty clean (if you disable crossplay).
It's not about preventing every cheater, but at some point it becomes to hard to cheat that the average user gives up. This is how you harm the chest developers' business model.
And bans these days are by hardware ID as well so it's not enough for a cheater to buy the game again. They'd need to buy a new PC as well.
