If you choose to live next to the ocean or in a forest, you've got to expect expensive or possibly non-existent insurance. That has nothing to do with the climate changing, just location.

In other words, MUCH better than any CCS alternatives.
Unlike California's own state-run high speed rail to nowhere project, this actually will be built and work, based on what they've accomplished in Florida.
Exactly. Plus horrible side effects for many.
I'm not against the technology, but it must be tested for the normal 4-8 years and found actually effective AND safe.
Oddly similar to the NCIS episode "Great Wide Open"
$ClimateScam
The people who are getting rich off of ignorant fools take it very seriously.
Instead of converting CO into CO2 such as on an ICE vehicle, it converts CO2 into CO.
Interesting...
Climate Scam indeed. This IS all about a transfer of wealth, nothing more. Always follow the money.
In 2000 they predicted that by 2020 there would be no more glaciers, and yet here we are in 2023. And since we are now in a cooling period, it is more likely they will grow instead. Hey, but no refunds...
In the 90s I could choose EXACTLY what channels I wanted to pay for with my BUD.
30 years on and we have NO CHOICE other than to just say no. Pathetic. Not that I care for anything but motorsports anyhow.
About 13 years ago I contacted Adobe trying to get information on client postscript drivers for use with direct plotting. It was like Postscript didn't exist, nobody there could answer any question. We eventually reverse engineered it to make it work, but it showed me that Adobe really didn't put any money into it any more and no longer held any technical expertise in the technology.
Glad my vehicles are all too old to be hacked this way. They require these things called keys to start them... and one requires keys to unlock it (or a slim-jim I guess).
Mixing infotainment with vehicle operations is a flawed design from the start. Will they ever learn their lesson?
Firefox is my only browser, mainly because the bookmarks work great, password integration tools, awesome YT ad filters and download tools, etc. I can't really think of anything negative to say about it.
OTOH, I won't use chrome or edge. I don't like or trust either in the least.
Star Trekkin across the Universe...
Why would ANYONE give ALL of their communications data directly to Google? Are you nuts?
Agreed.
Also be transparent - in that these were rushed through experimental drugs with completely skipped steps that would normally occur during testing over 5-10 years. Operation warp speed was just a BAD IDEA all around.
Also admit failure - as with all of these new drugs. None of them are very effective, nor effective for very long. None of them have anywhere near the safety criteria ever considered in the past for an approved drug. With what we know now, none of them should be in use today, for anyone. They are not vaccines.
Also highlight that simple masks, based on numerous studies and just plain physical impossibilities, are virtually useless against microscopic virus particles. That they provide no inherent protection to the wearer or others, but can cause multiple health issues from extended wear, along with psychological effects, especially in children.
I really doubt ANY of this will happen. There is just too much money involved.
