I really think the government was trying a hands off approach. "let the free market" do its thing. Clearly all the "free market" wants is to steal from everyone who isn't part of their billionaire inner circle.
I quit using TurboTax for this exact reason. I would have just a w2 and could file for free for federal. But if you click the wrong box, they automatically upgrade you to their "Deluxe" edition which would cost up to $90 to file. I spent hours on the phone with support trying to downgrade. Ended up making a new account.
This would be an interesting industry if China stops exporting rare earth materials. Recycling electronics for their rare earth metals and other byproducts might be cheaper in the not too distant future if we can't get imports. Mining them from our only rare earth mine in California will take years to ramp up any type of production. But if we could actually import tech junk we could "mine" those items.
I guess homepod mini and homepod 2 mean nothing then. They might not be flying off the shelves like other devices, but they are still active and under development.
Might need to read the link OP gave.

It's very common for kids to use VPNs to bypass restrictions on their school chrome books and other devices. Irony is that all these RED states want smaller government, but they are the ones creating all the new rules to restrict people's freedoms.
