You. I like you.
Seriously.
But ChatGPT is like PHP and JavaScript...it can do anything! Lol.
Indeed. I remember when some scammers were scraping various Wikipedia pages, and offering them as paid ebooks / on-demand publishing printed books through Amazon. Pieces-of-sh*t.
You'd find an interesting topic on Wikipedia, search Google for books on that topic, find something seemingly exactly what you wanted on Amazon, buy it, and be greeted with the exact text you just saw on Wikipedia. A waste of your time, and a clog in the flow of information, but the scammers got their $4.99, and Amazon got their cut, so it was all good!
I hope all those bastards die horribly after a lengthy and debilitating fight with cancer.
I imagine they are past the point of being 'gray' legal. They're scum. Hoping to pay a small fine, while making billions.
Lampposts + rope. For all of them.
Can we backup the Firefox repo so we have something to reboot from after this blows over? Because there's no way Mozilla isn't going to join them. And it's going to be bad.
Is there are a law somewhere that says mankind MUST be ruled by the biggest morons they can find? Because that seems to be the case...
Fix your f*cking search engine first. ChatGPT is flash in the pan.
I'm about ready to roll my own search engine.
I, too, am a BOFH.
How about we ask ChatGPT for the right answer, and let an AI do our thinking for us?
And that's why Google, once a gem, has turned into 'yet another regular company(TM)'.
So, let me get this straight. Our laws have been slowly rewritten over centuries so that the wealthy are immune to...just about everything...and your solution is to rewrite the laws? What, exactly, is going to keep them from modifying the bills before they leave Congress? Hope? A sternly-written letter? Politicians who are going to stick to to their advertised values because they "really mean it this time?"
Pass.
Indeed. Thinking of roundworms, tapeworms, flukes, and what not.
Yes. Sysadmins too. 'Tis a shame.
