Comment Getting too complicated (Score 1) 715

I've played every battlefield game since 1942. I enjoyed BF1, but probably spent less time with it then previous generations. BFV looks like vietnam so I will call if BF5, it's a beautiful looking game, plays well, but it's getting too complicated. You used to be able to click twice and be in a game. I spend more time trying to figure out what the heck is going on in the menus now. Maybe I'm just an old fart now, but it could have shipped with less game modes. I don't think everyone wants to grind and grind to get stuff anymore. What are all these different kinds of loot boxes? Daily challenges? I just want to shoot some folks and use some vehicles. does it have to be so complex now? I don't play fortnite, but that seems like a jump in quick game.

Jumping on the bandwagon here also. I liked Solo, some parts were meh, but enjoyable. Last Jedi lost me when Leia was floating out in space like she was taking a swim. I started looking around and seeing if everyone else thought the shark had finally been jumped. I kept waiting for Jar Jar to appear and say "yousa ok?"

I tried a couple readers after Google Reader shutdown, most were flashy, i wanted something i could read quickly, not flashy graphics. I settled on G2reader. Very minimalist, good support from developer. I did like the Old reader, but they seemed concerned about social groups. If g2reader shutdown, i'd head back to the old reader.

Without going into a ton of details, bluetooth just doesn't have the bandwidth to stream high quality sound. Unless you are using these custom protocols, or I think APT-X, you're basically getting AM quality sound. Getting a $500 name brand headset won't sound much better than a $25 dollar one. GIGO. There are quite a few other issues with timing, 2.4Ghz interference, etc.

I use it for their reward system, I earn like $5 from amazon, or can use it to earn credits in their Microsoft store for games/videos.

Good enough search results for me. I'll still use google occasionally, but getting $5 amazon e-credit takes little, to no effort.

The McDonald's in Durham, NC had this years ago. It didn't work so well. Too many choices, too many screens, and let's be honest, despite being around a hi-tech research area, most of the clientele were blue collar types who just wanted cheap food fast. A lot of people tried them, but after a couple months they just weren't being used and they got packed up. If there is some incentive to use them, people will. Like discount, or the regular line is long. Forcing people to use it will just piss people off. Good luck to them. But there is a reason they don't sell Rolex at Wal-Mart and Dollar General. I don't really care about either team, but after everything I've read and seen, I think the ref checking the ball just squeezed them or checked a few and let the balls be approved. There is no list of pressures, and a former ball boy said they would not check every ball. This explains everything. If the ref did his job, checked every ball, logged it, and inflated them to specification, there would be no mystery. Either the ref is above scrutiny, or the league is just trying to cover up that their own procedures weren't followed. This is the biggest non-story I've ever heard about, and takes away from the teams, especially about the Seahawks back to back trips.

I am 6'3. I don't fly enough to justify ordering it, but if I did fly more, I would certainly buy the knee defender. I end up having to prop both my knees up into the chair and provide constant pressure to stop people from dropping their seat into my legs. If I know someone is behind me, I never recline my seat. I don't blame the passengers, I blame the airlines for making it so tight. I used to be able to get into the emergency exit row without a fuss. Now they want me to pay extra for the extra leg room?
