Anyone else noticing a trend of PayPal screwing everybody over, almost like THAT is their job? Meanwhile, PayPal is immune from all recourse due to their Terms of Use and lack of standing as an actual bank. They're nothing but a middleman with horrible service that everyone has to use. There is still no viable alternative to PayPal at this time.
Everyone with anything good to say about PayPal, that I've talked to, openly admits it's because they've never had to TALK to PayPal and it simply works for them. The few who've called for simple questions (forgotten password, failed card authentication, other verifications...) will say even that minute amount of interaction was tiring.
How has PayPal not been charged with some sort of anti-trust suit? There has to be something that can get them to step up their quality and act their size. They're bigger than a lot of the remaining REAL banks, but have half the customer service or security, AND aren't held liable as a similarly size bank would be.

The system is broken here... burn it down and start over. Maybe PayPal 2.0 will function right after a good housecleaning.

It is remarkably easy to get away with identity theft anymore and the requirements to prove you ARE you, and didn't order the things claimed against you are ridiculous. Apparantly, never even have lived in the state the items are shipped in, with proof of your address history, isn't good enough. Getting a PO Box on the other side of the country, or world for that matter, is extremely unlikely or impossible. Most post offices require proof of residency before you can get a post office box. At least my local post offices has told me as much.

I had my old PayPal account stolen years back, which was tied to my USBank checking account. Ordinarily, I/my wife would make maybe 1-3 purchases a month, but then there were some 60 made in 2 days most for amounts under $50. PayPal didn't catch this. USBank didn't catch this... WE did.
We reported fraud (blatantly obvious fraud as the mailling address had been changed as well) and PayPal proceeded to look into it. In total, PayPal had some $2100 in charges on it waiting to be approved to be covered by checking. PayPal allowed them to all go through during the fraud investigation, which proceeded to overdraft my USBank account. I advised USBank of the error and what was going on with PayPal and they also began fraud investigation. Somehow, USBank did a chargeback against PayPal which made my PayPal balance negative $2100(est) while leaving my USBank account overdrawn PLUS FEES. PayPal dropped the fraud investigation for and said they didn't know what to do basically, and USBank followed suit. So, thanks to some a$$hole out there, I owe PayPal $2100 and USBank ~$2700 for the same event since both Fraud Depts are incompetant and downright stupid. Higher ups in both companies both basically told me to sit and spin, and pay up.
I refuse to use PayPal or USBank for these facts, and tell everyone who asks about their service to stay away! F*ck PayPal! F*ck USBank! And like hell will either of them ever get a dime from me XD

With all the advancement in the medical industry, I honestly find it somewhat surprising this has taken so long to come about. There are a lot more implications than just pregnancy observation this device could work for. These could be issued to Military Medics and First Responders for more accurate treatment and diagnosis on the spot. They could also be used in other emergency situations to address concerns from injury prior to opening the person up. Specifically, car accidents and from the military standpoint gunshots and concussive force damage (IED blasts do more than visible damage with the shock impact on the body). Ultrasounds technology has a lot more uses than that.. Google for more examples if you need more convincing lol.
The prices on current commercial ultrasounds vary so wildly in the article due to the varied models and types available. The cheaper ones are probably entry level models for clinics, etc. The more expensive models can utilize both invasive and non-invasive examinations and would include the ‘4D’ ultrasounds as well.
Hopefully the low cost will also lower the cost to the consumer/patient in that more ultrasounds can be counted on insurance and at a lower overall cost. I know several people who could only get 5 ultrasounds covered before it came out of pocket. Out of pocket, ultrasounds add up quickly to be very expensive. For high risk pregnancies they are an absolute must as well.

Regardless of what anyone in their particualr faith may say, 'true' Muslim followers are hate filled warmongers because their religion dictates as much. All these moderate and peaceful Muslims... aren't Muslim. If anything, they're closer to Catholics who call their god Allah, and preach Mohammad over Jesus.

They're all too bound up in what their book says about who was special, and so on, and so forth... how about living a peaceful and moral life based on common sense ideologies? Hell, I hate to referrence Dogma (the movie)... but hell, that movie has it just about right on how religion should be treated! We don't KNOW anything about religion besides books that have been written.. by men, not God (et al.for names...). Therefore, all religious texts are fallable unless they were brought into spontaneous existence through divine will. Even if some did trully convey the 'Word of God'... it's a conveyance.. a 2nd hand account... subject to interpretation.

I am devoutly Agnostic... I have some good ideas, but admit to knowing nothing about the truth of existence. I live because I do. I do right and good as I see right and good to be. I hold beliefs from a broad assortment of belief systems/religions as they suit to be sensible to me. Out of all of this research and rationale I apply in my reading... I find the Muslims to be the hardest hit by an obviously oppressive and violent religion. If I were to make a conjecture about it's "true" origins, I would say it was a means to establish central power under the guise of Divine Right as perpetrated by Mohammed. Honestly... about the same as most other major religions. If God were as the Catholics/Christians/Jewish say God is... why is an organized religion even necessary? Wouldn't all sensible and good people end up following out of a desire to see good in the world... not because a book says so?

Though the anti-Muslim movie in question was undoubtedly nothing more than 'flamebait'... the response it has elicited hardly does anything to help support their faith being 'peaceful'.
