Submission + - Swedish physicists confirm LENR (nyteknik.se) 2

spirito writes: Two Swedish physicists recently supervised a new test on the E-cat, a device capable of producing energy using nickel powder, water vapor and "secret" catalysts. In the report they write: “Any chemical process should be ruled out for producing 25 kWh from whatever is in a 50 cubic centimeter container. The only alternative explanation is that there is some kind of a nuclear process that gives rise to the measured energy production.” In the used powder 10% copper was found.

Submission + - 18000 x norm radiation in San Francisco tap wate (alexanderhiggins.com) 2

M4n writes: Despite countless reassurances that no harmful levels of radiation from the Japan nuclear fallout would hit the US from the EPA, the University of Berkeley in California is now reporting that rainwater in San Francisco water has now been detected at levels 18,100% above federal drinking water standards.

Iodine-131 was measured in a rainwater sample taken on the roof of Etcheverry Hall on UC Berkeley campus, March 23, 2011 from 9:06-18:00 PDT. The 3 Liters of rainwater collected contained 134 Becquerels of Iodine for an average of 20.1 Becquerel per liter, which equates to 543 Picocuries per litre.

The federal drinking water limit for Iodine-131 is 3 Picocuries per liter, putting the rainwater sample at 18,100% above the federal drinking water limit.

Submission + - New Dinosaur Species Found In China (telegraph.co.uk) 1

jones_supa writes: "A previously unknown dinosaur has been identified from fossils dug up in China and has been nicknamed as "T-Rex's cousin". The gigantic creature roamed North America and east Asia between about 65 million and 99 million years ago. Named in honour of Zhucheng as Zhuchentyrannus magnus, this animal was about 11 metres long, 4 metres tall and it weighed about 6 tonnes. The research team was led by Dr. David Hone, from University College Dublin school of biology and environmental science."

Submission + - New quantum record: 14 bits! (nanowerk.com)

Tx-0 writes: Quantum physicists from the University of Innsbruck have set another world record: They have achieved controlled entanglement of 14 quantum bits (qubits) and, thus, realized the largest quantum register that has ever been produced. With this experiment the scientists have not only come closer to the realization of a quantum computer but they also show surprising results for the quantum mechanical phenomenon of entanglement.
By now the Innsbruck experimental physicists have succeeded in confining up to 64 particles in an ion trap. "We are not able to entangle this high number of ions yet," says Thomas Monz. "However, our current findings provide us with a better understanding about the behavior of many entangled particles." And this knowledge may soon enable them to entangle even more atoms.

But sure they they are wery concerned with our safety.
For what orther reason would they want to build a military basis in our country than to protect us?
It seems that you hate your own people and want us to be unprepared when an evil dictator tries to take over our country.
Do you really want to sacrifice your own? We need the protection of the United States! We've always been allies with the United States!
