The zinc is a one time cost. The reactor uses zinc oxide to create hydrogen out of sunlight the same way a refinery uses steel to create gasoline from oil.
Is this hydrogen plant really any better than just creating electricity?
Very much no. This is for people who want hydrogen, not electricity.
A) It isn't indiscriminate
Yes it is. Antibiotics are fed to healthy livestock as a preventative measure.
B) it's far less then an actual dose
Which is far worse. The proper way to use antibiotics is to use a large dose to kill all bacteria before any have a chance to adapt.
C) there is no evidence it has cause any mutation
CBC Marketplace did a study of antibiotic resistant bacteria in chicken. Two thirds of 100 samples were contaminated by bacteria, all of which were resistant to at least one antibiotic. Most were resistant to at least five.
D) misuse of antibiotic is the primary cause for mutation.
And this is a gross misuse of antibiotics.
Here, sign this secret agreement saying you'll pay us $X million for Android licenses, and we'll make sure you won't pay $X million more for Windows Phone licenses...
