I would not really call it 'tricky but doable', more like 'arms race google has been in for a long time'. Every time they come up with a way to improve search results, SOE companies adjust till they find a new pattern that gets ranked well. AI content and detecting AI content are both the same stats game, and never underestimate sketchy companies with a profit motive.

We might eventually have to rethink what it means to be a student. It used to be a status symbol for the wealthy, then it was found that education produced economic productivity so it became a right, then the paperwork became a prerequisite for employment, so it became a necessity... and when something is a necessity, people will figure out a way handle it in such a way that moves them towards what they actually want : a well paying job.

Eh, it is less that the population is 'litigation happy', and more the laws are written to be 'DIY'. Instead of regulators or police doing things, you have to 'sue' at your own expense. You can pretty easily tell which laws were drafted by industries that didn't want to be regulated by how they depend on lawsuits.

Yeah, it would probably be a fine language if not for its community... though the whole stated objective could probably be accomplished with an expanded linter. I really can't figure out who it is for, outside maybe javascript developers who want to tinker in systems programming without having to learn C. From working with it myself, I find the idea of using it in embedded or kernel environments is kinda terrifying since there is so much sugar that you can't really see what it is doing.

Eh, if they didn't get people's attention they would not be bothering with Rust. The only real purpose of the language is so you can say you are a rust developer and all the social credit that comes with it. Otherwise they would just use Ada.. but that isn't 'cool' and you can't rub it in those C/C++ developers they feel inferior to.
