Venmo and their parent company PayPal (I still don't understand why people are migrating from PayPal to Venmo, it's got fewer features) do the same thing.
I agree, as someone who's used Twitter who's recently gotten fast replies and support from Southwest Airlines, Amazon, and EA lately without sitting in a phone queue or having to go through a longer web form to be allowed to submit an email request. You can include picture(s), it's public and visible, and it's easier. The amount of people griping here need to get off their own lawn and realize it's 2017 and the world has moved along.
"An owner of a defunct company accused of bilking the Defense Department out of more than $20 million, including charging nearly $1 million to ship two 19-cent washers, pleaded guilty Thursday to federal wire fraud and money laundering.
Charlene Corley owned plumbing and hardware equipment supply company C&D Distributors LLC with her sister, Darlene Wooten, who committed suicide last fall, reports CBS News correspondent Sharyl Attkisson."
"Prosecutors said among the fraudulent charges were ones for $998,798 to ship two 19-cent lock washers, $492,097 to ship an $11 threaded plug, and $499,569 to ship 10 cotter pins worth $1.99 each."
In the case of a 3rd party merchant on Amazon, they would never see your card # if it was paid through the Amazon portal. The same goes for if you pay for an eBay purchase through PayPal, all the merchant sees is a deposit and a transaction #. They never get their hands on your card # once.
Let's not forget or skip the more important fact that obesity has TRIPLED in the US since the 1990s. I've seen so many comments blaming Facebook, smart phones, or legislation. With so many of us so much bigger than we were in the 90's, it should come as NO surprise that everyone is being physical less frequently.

I bought a Craigslist Nexus 5X to replace the Google Store 5X I killed. The CL one had been used on T-Mobile last, but after a 1-2 day wait (while still using backup phone), Sprint was able to provision it for service on their network again. Not painless, but they did do it, and willingly.
Seriously, I'm currently using a Nexus 5x, and had a Nexus 5 before that. The whole reason I picked those over a Samsung flagship was the 'low' cost of outright purchasing. The Pixel is almost 2 times the cost of my 5x, I will be holding off an upgrade for a while.
They do? I tried to buy one, but they didn't offer any of the Lumias at Sprint, so I ended up buying a Nexus from Google
Can't even find Windows phones on their online site https://www.sprint.com/shop/?I...
