Tried Affinity Photo but it has a messed up idea of what Color Replacement is.
With Photoshop, color replacement is pretty much what you would think: replace x color with y color.
With Affinity Photo, "Color Replacement" really means "Hue Replacement", so if you are trying to change the color of something that is gray you are out of luck (unless, of course, you follow these five steps of making a new layer, painting over the areas you want colored in white, changing blending mode, etc.)

I tried Affinity Photo, I really wanted to like it, but they don't have the simple option of a color replacement tool.
Per a post I found on their forums, it apparently only replaces the hue, not the color, and the workaround is to create new layers and mess with blending options.

No thanks, if I wanted to do pointless extra tasks to do a simple task that Photoshop has had as long as I can remember I would just use Gimp.
