After many years of using Ubuntu, I eventually left for Elementary (with some tweaks of mine to have reasonably sized windows' titlebars). Yeah - it's still kind of Ubuntu under the hood.

For server-side, where Ubuntu still matters that would make very little sense. And since their desktop doesn't matter anymore from the time they reintroduced the g-word for DE, why bother?

I ditched Ubuntu, once they abandoned their most promising DE and opted for the GNOME nonsense. Add snap's for everything and systemd as icing on the cake
