Yes. People forget or are too clueless to know that two of the best shields for radioactivity are salt and water. Also, there are approximately 4 billion tons of uranium already dissolved in the worldâ(TM)s oceans.

One of the best ideas Iâ(TM)ve seen on what to do with nuclear waste was published in Scientific American in the early 1980â(TM)s. They found an area of seabed that was geologically stable where nothing has happened there in hundreds of thousands of years. The area has hundreds of feet of silt as well. They proposed putting it in containers under a few hundred feet of silt where it will sit there undisturbed for another few hundred thousand years.

I’ll be a lot more sympathetic if all the media and movies were available. Wanna watch old Captain Kangaroo? It’s not available except on pirate sites. Disney’s Song of the South or the Black Cauldron, the Same thing. How about the news reports from 20 years ago — not available. The reason people pirate is because they can’t get what they want for a reasonable price if at all.

However, $450 of it can only be used to purchase food and an additional $375 will expire next Tuesday. The remaining $125 can be spent only in businesses with a social credit score of over 700. Additionally any purchase you make will be logged and will affect your social credit score and you may receive health recommendations based on the foods and other items you purchase. If they don’t like you, they can simply turn your dollars off or deflate their values.

If you think I’m joking, I’m not. It’s as scary as hell. Really cool from a techie perspective but really really ripe for abuse.

Netflix will also have to contend with the fact that there are some programs that only really work in a linear fashion such as current national and local news.

I've often wondered though why you can't go back and re-watch the news for a specific day. I'm sure the politicians wouldn't like that as people could easily go back and see if their statements and predictions turned out to be true or not. But that right there is the reason why historical news should be available.

The lightning connector is superior. If the female side gets full of dust, you can go in there and clean it out with a toothpick and clean it out without the risk of destroying the connector. MicroUSB and USB-C packs the dust in there harder every time you plug it in and if you try to clean out the dust with a toothpick you run pretty good odds of destroying the connector.

Too bad Apple didnâ(TM)t push it into the public domain so everyone could use it.
