Comment Re:Is there evidence salt is bad for normal people (Score 1) 62

Salt is absolutely necessary for the human body to function. Low salt diets may be necessary for people with heart conditions, but their issues are a bad heart. If you want to reduce blood pressure, stop eating foods that hurt your body. Foods that raise your blood sugars (way past what they should be), foods full of inflammatory additives, foods that have weird chemicals in them. Foods that require lots of insulin to bring your sugars back down and are also processed cause inflammation in the arteries and that in turn can result in blockage, hardening of the arteries, and high blood pressure. Many people who get into low carb/high fat diets reverse their inflammation and lower their blood pressure and still eat salt. Also, eating a good salt is important. I use Celtic Sea Salt. It's a totally different salt than table salt. I'm not even sure table salt is really salt.

Many of the features that Opera came up with in the 90's were adopted by the other browsers. I'm pretty sure that Opera invented the TAB concept. At least, it was the first time I ever saw a tab was in Opera. I'm sure there are a slew of other features as well. Opera was very on the edge back then. I still use it as much as I can, probably because Speed Dial is so useful and entertaining. it used to be my mail client as well before gmail took over.

I totally agree and my wordstar days still influence my hot key selections. After messing around with a few packages, for Windows ,I now use HOT KEY BIND to setup my hot keys. Aqua-man was one of the first movies in a while where people were clapping at the end. It wasn't a standing ovation, but still it caught me by surprise. I enjoyed the movie. i wasn't bored or itching for it to be done. Jason M did a decent job of it as well. You have to expect that not every movie is going to be "Mississippi Burning" (which I really rate as up there damn good) or Forrest Gump.

I watched one movie the first time.. adverts every 20-30 min.. the same ones with little variation. But the interval wasn't bad. Today I tried again.. every 10 minutes. The same adverts.. come on? Seriously, do you think your audience is mindless? It became incredibly annoying to have to stop every ten minutes, not even network TV used to do that (I don't think, I have to remember way back) unless it's football. I've uninstalled it. Whichever bean counter thought he could shorten the interval to make a client happy, well I hope it flushes down the drain for ya!
