Agreed. They gave mobile a shot. Windows Phone was a decent OS -- very responsive on cheap hardware. But it is hard to be the 3rd or 4th most popular mobile platform when iOS and Android had 90%+ market share a few years ago and now likely 99%.

Many tech platforms result in only a single winner or maybe two. Blu-ray vs HD DVD. VHS vs Beta. SD vs Compact Flash vs xD vs Memory Stick.

Microsoft wasted a lot of money on Windows Phone but is on the right track now.

Based on the typical comments posted on Slashdot, my guess is that the average commenter is a 50+ year old guy who in another few years will be yelling at clouds or telling kids to get off his lawn. The amount of negativity here is astounding (in this post and many others). My guess is that commenters think they are edgy and smart but in reality it makes them look weak and afraid of anything outside their narrow comfort zone. [/armchair-psychology]

Maybe you have difficulty writing clearly? You said precisely what the GP warned against and you denied.

Since you made the same mistake maybe I'll spell it out even more clearly. That is what I said. This is what nite hawk said [...cut...]

@burtosis, instead of repeatedly defending yourself, acknowledge that you made a typo which caused this confusion. Presumably you meant to say "Not all of them are pedos, but it's pretty likely ***any*** pedos we do hear about will be on the list." I don't think many would disagree with that statement. Doubtful Epstein has two different address books for pedos and non-pedos.

Your reading comprehension skills need improvement. The plaintiffs in this lawsuit are the customers of DoorDash, not the delivery drivers. The customers contend that they were deceived into believing that delivery tips were actual tips on top of normal wages. This is a realistic belief considering that the US delivery tipping has always worked this way. Only the restaurant server business works otherwise and everyone is very well aware of that.
