Say he did get âoeone gram of thrust,â considering he really means about 0.01 Newtons. Then we scale it up, say to even just 1,000 Newtons using a large array of these. Thatâ(TM)s still very little force, but the point is that it can be applied without a reaction mass. The dreaded rocket equation goes out the window for space flight. We may accelerate slowly, but we can keep accelerating for many years straight without having to accelerate all that fuel too.

Many crashes are maintenance related. This issue is about quality control at the factory. And the MAX isn't very new. It is just a slightly modified 737 with new engines (which is related to one reason they were crashing). I wouldn't have a problem flying on a 737 built before the McDonnell Douglas managers took over Boeing. It became the most popular commercial jet back when it was a great and reliable jet.

Hey, we need some help with our server, weâ(TM)re in your command.

Okay, where is it.

It is at an undisclosed location I cannot tell you, you have no access, and you will have to hop through two other networks and a slow satellite link to get there.

Shit.

Years ago if you wanted to publish stupid shit that could get people killed, you needed to pay a printer to slowly make thousands of copies that you could then try to distribute, as far as you could transport it by horse.

Today you can instantly post the same stupid shit online, and hundreds of millions of Americans have instant access to it.

Technology wise, itâ(TM)s like a Falcon 9 engine, but with methanol as the fuel. Itâ(TM)s the most basic design of liquid rocket in use.

Starship uses a full-flow staged combustion engine, and despite earlier attempts by the US and USSR to design them, SpaceX is the first to ever get one off the ground. They just havenâ(TM)t sent it to space yet.
