I thought that the .private TLD was reserved for this purpose long before the proliferation of TLDs. I can not find that right now.
I know of at least one company that used .int for the internal domain name that is intended to be not reachable from the outside, even though .int was intended to be for international. So they registered and used mycompanyname.com externally, and use mycompanyname.int internally.

Maybe they were confused between the whitehouse.gov and whitehouse.org sites?

These both seem in line with the capital cost for commercial power plants.
As posters have noted, nuclear power has the advantage of higher availability compared to renewable plants or even fossil powered plants.
There are thermodynamic advantages to large power plants. Large power plants also have lower operating cost for personnel compared to a set of smaller power plants with the same total production capacity.
There are additional losses from having to move power from remote electrical power plants to consumers.

The latest version of Mac OSX 10.13 High Sierra is not compatible with versions of Microsoft Office in use at our house and my spouse's small business. For example, Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac OS is not supported or tested on Mac OSX High Sierra. Even versions of Microsoft Office 2016 prior to v15.34 are not compatible. So when/if we update Mac OSX, we will have to buy new versions of software AND perhaps deal with the O365 perpetual subscription mess. No, it is not feasible to migrate to Open Office because we have several large applications built on Excel Macros and Excel VBA.

I have an iPhone 5 that had the battery replaced under warranty a year ago. When I took it out of the OtterBox Defender case at the Apple store, it was pristine except for some rub-marks from dust that worked in between the case and the phone.
