I can't see it being a healthy way to grieve but each to their own so long as it doesn't become some costly and invasive new "obligation" to foist onto mourners.
I know from being far from home on occasions that the tech to speak and video conference can sometimes make it seem farther.
It's not that some component is "good enough", it's that attention to some other component is a better use of resources
Overall the rate of improvement to the system remains at least the same
There will always be human oversight in the system when weapons are used
I'm guessing that the term "oversight" is pretty malleable. I could imagine that ballistic projectiles like bullets would need to be closely linked to the maneuvering and eventually the oversight will simply be uploading a set of terms of engagement. Either that or overseeing it doing whatever it wants
