Honestly, this is probably fine for your average user. They'll probably want the sanitized version.
But I don't. Fuck that. I guess is anyone leading in the "fuck guardrails" AI?

Colbert is, simply put, an amazing character actor. He plays zany, overexaggerated characters, and he fucking nails it.
When he's not playing a character, he's boring. Incredibly boring. As much as he nailed it as a character actor, man, he nailed it a super boring man.
I get that, hey, maybe he got tired of it, it was most of his career that he did that. But he just isn't interesting.
If you're going to be a bigot or a racist you don't get to be upset when we call you out for bigotry or racism. That's all "woke" means.
LOL, no it's not. Woke is to the left like alt-right is to the right. I've seen plenty of racism and bigotry spewed from wokes.
I'm progressive, and I loathe wokes. They make the left look insane, petty, and cruel.
I used to browse Reddit regularly, not a power user but a regular one. Then the pulled the third-party API fiasco and I said fuck em. I still use Reddit, but only for very targeted purposes (so pretty rare).
Guess I made the right decision. Fuck the people running Reddit.
But that doesn't necessarily equate to sales.
I started using Gemini and liked it, so I paid for the upgraded version. But after seeing the absolute nonsense, I canceled my upgraded plan. I'll consider switching back in the future, but not until they fix all these issues. But I'm also going to be on the lookout for AI platforms that never had this nonsense in the first place.
Any publicity is not necessarily good publicity.
You could be right, but I suggest something else.
Once things like racism, sexism, etc. are no longer the main concern, what will people turn to? I postulate that it would be class.
Can you imagine the proles uniting together to ensure that the haves have to share their wealth? Sure it would really help alleviate the burden of poverty, but the rich? They would be just a little less rich. We can't have that.
So what do you? Keep the proles bickering amongst each other. Is there an issue with law enforcement? Sure. Is it primarily racism? Eh, probably not, racism is an issue, but by making it primarily about race issues (and therefore keeping the masses divided on the issue), any fixes will be tiny and incremental rather than sweeping (like it needs to be).
I think I'm more looking forward to video cards that don't take up half my damn case.
The "we don't want to make a live service game" sounds like a flimsy excuse. It's more than likely "we've burned through all the remaster money".
I mean, seriously. You put all this time and money into a multi-player game, and then you just suddenly realized where it was leading? Naw, not buying it.
I do feel bad for anyone losing their job. Don't feel bad for Naughty Dog leadership, though.
A class-action lawsuit? Maybe. All the "front" stuff in a marketplace seems to indicate that you're making a purchase, like when you hit the "purchase" or "buy" button in any of the marketplaces. The sneaky bullshit is that you're "buying" a limited-time license; basically, a rental; but I don't seem them ever label them as rentals (I only see "rentals" labeled where you can watch for a day or two, then your license expires). Digital purchase laws overwhelmingly support the corporate side of things.
It honestly needs to be made much more clear that you are not buying ("buying a limited license" is weasel words) but are only renting for as long as the business deems fit. They can be taken away for any reason or no reason. Of course, if they were up front about, that would probably result in fewer sales. There's the rare marketplace like gog.com (Good 'ol Games) that let you know that you're buying the game without DRM and can transfer it to as many devices as you want, but...again, rare. And this isn't anything new. Nintendo has shut down marketplaces for their old consoles, and there's no way to transfer your downloaded content to another device, so...yeah, limited-time rental.
The problem with physical is that it will eventually degrade and that people only have so much storage space they can dedicate to media.
Digital laws really need to be changed to support the buyer, but we've seen how much the people in charge really care about the issue.
