I see a future with a ton of exploited Windows 10 PC's or tons of eWaste as perfectly good PC's are discarded in order to move to Windows 11.

This 100%. Only switched because it's less of a moving target, hence I have a 2020 SE.

You do realise who makes Chrome right? Who does all of the above and sets your search to their own by default?
