An anonymous reader writes: WLinux is a custom Linux distro built from Debian stable and testing that is optimized for use on Windows Subsystem for Linux on Windows 10. WLinux contains a number of custom packages and settings to enhance use on WSL, including out of the box support for GUI apps with your choice of X client. The project is open source, available on GitHub, and can be downloaded from Microsoft Store.
