Any Linux. I typically have 15 workspaces (virtual desktops), containing a total of over 100 browser windows displaying various information, eclipse, text editors, Gimp, Inkscape, etc., with FoldingAtHome and a compile or two running on the background, all on a 1GHz machine with a gigabyte of memory and a heavily hand-patched Red Hat Linux 9. You can only fit a few dozen tabs on a single Firefox window before they overflow to the right. That's why you still need multiple browser windows, even on Firefox. Furthermore, the tabs form a flat list, so finding the correct one when there's many open is a pain, while opening multiple windows lets you scatter them to different desktops, giving a nice hiearachy: desktop -> browser window -> tab.
