Judge: Target can be sued over website design

BcNexus writes: "According to the Associated Press, a a California judge has ruled that a lawsuit brought by the National Federation of the Blind accusing Target Corporation of running a website innaccessible to the blind may proceed under the Americans with Disabilities Act and various California laws. Could this set a precedent and subsequent flood of lawsuits against websites? What if another design is not tractable?"
