German Net Boycott day

A German Internet user group is calling for an Internet boycott day on the 1st of November to force Deutsche Telecom to reduce its prices. Unlike in the US, local calls are charged by the minute in most of Europe. Interestingly, France Telecom is looking to build up its Minitel business while keeping it separate from the Internet, reducing the Internet's appeal to most users.
