The Standish group
has an interesting
comparative review between NT and Solaris. Solaris wins
hands down... and is cheaper for large numbers of users due
to NT's per-seat licensing. Availability (computer not dead)
and scalability (real multiprocessing) were other areas where
Solaris scored well.
e-credibility: the non-guaranteeable likelihood that the electronic data
you're seeing is genuine rather than somebody's made-up crap.
