#1 Tool we use to promote our events Date: Feb 20 2023
Summary: If you're looking for a reliable and effective text messaging service, I highly recommend txtsignal. Their web application is easy to use and offers all the features you need to manage your campaigns, and their full-service option is a great way to get started if you're new to text messaging. With incredible open rates and engagement, txtsignal has helped us to connect with our customers and drive more sales.
Positive: As an event promoter, I've been using txtsignal for almost two years now and it has been a game-changer for our business. I started off using their full-service option for six months to learn the ropes and since then, I have switched to using the web application and run all the campaigns myself. Having them set up QR codes for our customers to scan to join the list helped build our customer list pretty quick. The web app is easy to use and has all the features I need to manage my text messaging campaigns.
We consistently get a 98% open rate, which is higher than any other marketing channel we use. And, we get click-through rates of 30% or more. This level of engagement is amazing and has helped us to reach more customers and drive more event registrations.
And, if I need something, the support team is quick to responds with an email. Sometimes I might have a more complicated question and someone on the team calls me and walks me through things.Negative: The only downside is that they don't have a native mobile app. They do have a mobile web version that allows you to send immediate messages, but it's not as full-featured as the web application. However, this has been a minor inconvenience and hasn't impacted our ability to use the service effectively.

Full Service Option = List of 1,000 Customers Date: Feb 17 2023
Summary: Over the years, we had spent 1000s/month for marketing agencies to do our social media, but it was never clear what they were doing was actually working.
We have been using txtsignal since late 2015 and it is the best marketing money we spend. We learned how to do it right and know we are using txtsignal twice a week.
If you're more tech savvy or have the time to figure out how to get things going, the software is really easy to use. If you're not a techie or you don't have the time (like us), have them do it for you and then do it yourself when you get things dialed in.Positive: The txtsignal team knows text messaging! And they can build the customer list fast! We own a restaurant and taproom and used txtsignal's full service option to help improve our revenue.
The team helped build up our customer text list fast. In about 60 days, we had nearly 500 customers that we were texting 2-3 times a week to promote our business. It was easy. We told the team what we needed and wanted to do and they did everything for us. After a year of us basically learning, they are totally cool with hnading the account off --no games, no trying to hold us to a contract.
We also like being able to drop a link into a text and the system shortens it and tracks the clicks. It helps when we are having special events when we need our customers to take a next step.Negative: Not many. The system does not have the picture sending. We wanted to use that a few times, but it wasn't a big deal for us.

The initial price. We looked at it like an investment and it has paid back. Everytime we sent a message out, we have people flashing their phones at us. -

Easy to Use, Excellent Service Date: Oct 19 2022
Summary: Been using for several years with my biz clients. It does everything I need it to do. And, to me, getting service is key.
Positive: Very solid service with excellent support. It has been around longer than any platform I've tried (so many fly-by-night text companies).
It has an easy account switch feature. I support dozens of clients, so this is key (at least for me).
Feature wise, it has all the features I need: fast messaging, keywords, and scheduled messaging. I like the per message campaign stats. The system also shortens any links and tracks enagement which is important for what I do with clients.
One of the most important things is that it's the only text platform I have found that guarantees not to use my account or contact data for "marketing purposes" (whatever that is...lol).Negative: There are a couple missing things, but most are minor (YMMV).

For example, there isn't an option to send out an image baked into the message. Most of my clients haven't needed or wanted to send out pictures, so not a deal breaker (again for me).
It is also missing a "tag" feature. It has unlimited groups, but I would like to be able to label and segment contacts a bit different. Not a deal breaker for me, but it might be if you need super fine distinctions between contacts.
