Decent PDF editor Date: Oct 15 2025
Summary: Attempted editing a scanned worksheet and succeeded, but it took a minute to locate the correct button. A simple tip for new users would be appreciated.
Positive: Editing was good, although the interface could be made clearer in places. A few labels and icons weren't made clear immediately, although generally everything worked neatly once I'd got familiar with it.
Negative: New users could perhaps be helped faster by a small tutorial popup explaining key features straight away.

Useful with a few minor limitations Date: May 04 2026
Summary: Split a 200-page manual for employees into sections by department. This process went smoothly, although entering custom ranges for each section required some effort.
Positive: Split tool worked well for breaking a large document into smaller sections by page range. Interface was intuitive, preview loaded quickly, and output files kept original formatting without any surprises.
Negative: It would be nice if custom ranges were more convenient to enter. Entering page ranges manually is possible, but using a page selector tool, where the user simply clicks on pages to specify the range, seems more natural.

Decent for everyday PDF tasks Date: Apr 28 2026
Summary: Used it to convert a training manual from PDF to Word so edits could be made before redistribution. Most of it came through cleanly, though a couple of pages with heavy formatting needed minor touch-ups.
Positive: Converting PDFs to Word preserved most formatting, including tables and bullet points, which is rare for free tools. Speed was solid and results were usable without heavy manual cleanup afterward.
Negative: Conversion accuracy dips a bit with complex layouts that have multiple columns or layered graphics. Had to fix some spacing issues manually, which added a few extra minutes to my workflow.

Summary: Compression of large board documents was the major challenge but the tool managed to meet it, although with slightly enhanced preview capabilities, it could have been even better.
Positive: Managed to compress several months’ worth of reports sufficiently to be able to send via email without distorting any of the graphs.
Negative: More explicit expectations about file compression before the download will help in the evaluation of the application’s performance.
