Summary: It was good, I would use the tool again to do my taxes. It would be good if ZenLedger bring the price down on its products since using its tool would cost about as much as it does to do one's own taxes for the year.

Positive: Process for generating tax documents for TurboTax was super easy. It's a great tool for infrequent crypto traders like myself, who can fit into the free tier of the product.

Negative: The price of the product is steep once you reach a certain number of transactions in a year.

Summary: Get answers quickly, found all the coins, exchanges, etc. Great!

Positive: No one else understands crypto like ZenLedger and IRS knows that they are trustworthy so I trust them too.

Negative: Everything is good, I have had no problems with the figures.

Summary: I don't use it often, but when I do, I have no complaints as noted above. Not understanding crypto at first, this is an excellent way to better understand the tax ramification.

Positive: Very easy to use and very good customer support. When asking for help via text, they say 24-48 hours to get a response, but I have used it twice now and have received a response within the first day.

Negative: So far so good, hope it stays that way! There was a lot of areas when first using the program that I did not understand, and that did take some time.

Summary: Excellent - happy to have this tool. I know there are alternative companies who claim they offer crypto tax assistance, but I feel ZenLedger is the leader in this field. I also appreciate receiving frequent informative Emails.

Positive: ZenLedger has provided me an efficient and effective means of dealing with my crypto taxes. Customer support has been great, particularly since I am not particularly computer literate.

Negative: Navigating between different parts of the site too frequently

Summary: I would say that my skill-set and knowledge of cryptocurrencies is at "intermediate level." ZenLedger has greatly simplified my annual requirements for tracking and filing taxes in regard to cryptocurrency transactions over the past 3 years since I started using the product and website.

Positive: (1) Makes tracking crypto transactions easier and have one place to review all crypto transactions.
(2) Required IRS forms for filing automatically populated is a big time saver.
(3) Tax checklist review module and verification of trades helps to ensure I did not miss anything throughout the year.

Negative: Updating the wallets and exchanges takes some practice depending on the exchange/ wallet.

Would like to see more wallets supported by ZenLedger (STX/HIRO/etc).

Summary: I started investing in crypto in Feb 2021. I knew I had a bunch of transactions and a slight capital gain but didn't know how many or how much. With tax time approaching, I did some research and bought ZenLedger. I had over 600 transactions and 5k in capital gains. ZenLedger made it super easy to download transactions from different brokerages and calculate my tax forms. They also connect to TurboTax. Highly recommend!

Positive: Easily links to different brokerages and crypto wallets. Keeps a nice ledger of all your crypto holdings with up to date transactions. Calculates and easily creates the needed tax forms for TurboTax.

Negative: I wish I would have known that crypto brokerages can be linked with TurboTax so a ledger is not really necessary to complete taxes.

Summary: Again, if you’re going to play in the cryptocurrency market, ZenLedger should be your go-to at tax time.

Positive: Easy to use. If you’re confused about taxes and cryptocurrency, then look no further than ZenLedger.

Negative: I didn’t like that somehow I got hooked into a recurring subscription to Hobbyist…am still not sure what it is…but I was able to easily cancel.

Summary: I have used ZenLedger for 4 years. The software is amazing and verifies that everything is properly accounted for. For the 2 times I was confused about how to fix an error I created, a quick chat with support and, boom, solved. Last year when the IRS required disclosure, it asks what software you are using and I found that ZenLedger was accepted by them unquestionably. Lifetime fanboy and customer here. Yes, it's that good!

Positive: It is very easy to use, thorough and has great support. Comprehensive links for every coin I own. Accepted by the IRS!

Negative: I wish there was a way to save more API's so that I wouldn't need to generate new ones every year, or live-link to my exchanges and wallets.

Summary: I'm planning on using it every year and purchasing 2 years at a time for a discount. I appreciated the detailed instructions.

Positive: The majority of the inputs are done with clearly instructed walkthrough. The few special cases I had to trouble shoot had suggested solutions from the software or online from ZenLedger.

Negative: I was unclear about what level purchase is need, but after signing up the software let me know what I needed.

Summary: Spent about a week trying to get another product to work without much success. ZenLedger took about a day.

Positive: Transactions imports from most exchanges with with little or no followup effort required. Had only a few questions and they were answered amazingly fast. I tried another product first but had extreme difficulty importing transactions and found their tech support did not have English as their native language and that they were very sloooow to respond.

Negative: It's a little difficult to figure out how to correct discrepancies in the imported data. The reason for the discrepancy was not always obvious. I finally just had to guess at the corrective actions required.

Summary: I am not sure what I would do without ZenLedger. I know I need to report my activities but with so many exchanges and wallets it was getting difficult. Plus, my memory is not great and often I would neglect logging all of my transactions. Now I don't need to worry about doing that so much so.

Last year I needed a lot of help to get my portfolio to be correct and the folks at ZenLedger were amazing in how quickly and frequently they helped me until my stats in ZenLedger matched what I was seeing in the respective exchanges and wallets.

I am in many exchanges and have a few wallets so seeing my overall financial gains was challenging. I like seeing my overall investment and gains shown in ZenLedger.

Positive: I like that I have a software that helps me report my activities, provides me with an overall financial picture of my assets from the combination of wallets and exchanges, and the support/help from ZenLedger has been amazing.

Negative: It is not so much ZenLedger but all the different exchanges and wallets have different methods to provide their information to someone like ZenLedger and that can become challenging especially if ZenLedger does not yet have said exchange or wallet listed. Gratefully they are always adding more exchanges and wallets and even more importantly they have a great support help.

Summary: Overall, I'm please with the experience and do not have any complaints. However, I have only used the free trial service so far.

Positive: It was simple to link my accounts with ZenLedger and received documents for my tax filings. I have only used the free version so far, but will upgrade to use for the upcoming tax season.

Negative: I have not encountered any issues as of yet to share.

Summary: It does what I need it to do best and that is to report my cryptocurrency transactions and capital gains/losses when I do my taxes.

Positive: ZenLedger contains all the crypto trading platforms and wallets I need to complete my taxes without any need for calculating any complicated transactions myself.

Negative: Not all trading platforms are easy to transfer/crossover.

Summary: I've been using ZenLedger since 2018 and can't imagine trying to be accurate in my crypto tax reporting without it.

Positive: The software is amazing and works great with APIs. Adding transactions with custom CSVs is easy to do. If I ever have any trouble, their chat room customer service is very responsive and sees that I resolve my problem ASAP.

Negative: I would love every exchange and wallet to utilize an API to import transactions and to have those update automatically every quarter to make it super easy to get my transactions into the software.

Summary: In summary, my experience with ZenLedger was very positive. It helped me organize my tax data rapidly and helped me to understand how some earning needed to be handled which were muddy at best prior to using ZenLedger. I would highly recommend the product.

Positive: ZenLedger made gathering tax data across the crypto-verse easy. The looming tax season after entering Crypto was daunting to say the least and manually gathering all the data was made simple with just a few click. ZenLedger's team was very supportive and their turn around time to answer questions was remarkable.

Negative: At the time I ran my first report, ZenLedger did not support NiceHash or many DeFi channels so I had some leg work to do but they turned days or weeks of work into hours. I would like to see more stream lined support for mining profits, node profits, and DeFi platforms including DAO's.
