Zemam Description
Zemam is a comprehensive, cloud-centric ERP solution designed specifically for small and medium enterprises in Egypt and the MENA region, focusing on Arabic users. Its infrastructure is built on a robust IFRS-compliant, double-entry accounting system that seamlessly integrates Egyptian VAT and direct e-invoicing through the Egyptian ETA, while maintaining a full audit trail. The retail and restaurant point-of-sale (POS) system operates entirely offline and synchronizes automatically, ensuring that sales operations remain uninterrupted. Inventory management is flexible, allowing for costing methods like WAC or FIFO, and includes tracking for batches and expiry dates across various warehouses and branches. Real-time posting to a unified general ledger covers various functions, including sales, purchases, treasury operations, cheque management, installments, and multi-currency handling under IAS 21, alongside features for manufacturing, fixed assets management, human resources, payroll, and customer relationship management. A nearly complete mobile application and a desktop POS system enhance Zemam's usability both in the field and at checkout counters. With an RTL Arabic-first interface, which also supports English, Zemam incorporates multi-tenant data isolation, role-based access permissions, and structured approval workflows. Users can easily import their data via Excel, supported by onboarding assistance, and can begin using the platform for free without the need for a credit card, making it an accessible option for businesses in the region. Additionally, Zemam’s commitment to user-friendly design means that even those new to ERP systems can navigate its functionalities with ease.

Good ERP for daily business management Edited: Jul 12 2026
Summary: Zemam helped us organize our daily work better. Before using it, we were spending more time following inventory, accounting and employee information manually. Now everything is in one system, which made tracking much easier and reduced mistakes. We also save time because we don't need to enter the same data in different places. It still takes some time for new users to learn all the features, but overall we are happy with the system and it works well for our business.
Positive: What I like most is that everything is in one place. We use it for accounting, inventory, sales, purchasing, HR, CRM, POS and the mobile app. The reports are clear and easy to understand, and this helped us follow our business better. The accounting module also made it easier to understand our numbers even without depending on an accountant all the time. The system is easy to use after the first learning period, and it saves us a lot of time because all modules are connected together.
Negative: The first setup took some time because it was our first ERP system. We also needed a short training to understand how everything works. Some screens have many options, so at the beginning it was a little confusing. After using it for a while, it became much easier.

Solid Arabic accounting system with ETA support Date: Jul 10 2026
Summary: Overall it's been a good experience. It replaced two or three separate tools I was using before and gave me a clear picture of my business from one place. For a small or medium business in Egypt that needs proper Arabic accounting with VAT and e-invoicing, I'd recommend giving it a try.
Positive: What I like most is that it's built in Arabic from the start, not just translated, so my team learned it quickly. Everything is connected — when I make a sale, the inventory and the accounts update on their own. The Egyptian VAT and the e-invoicing (ETA) work without any extra hassle, and the support team actually replies in Arabic when I need them.
Negative: I'd like a few more ready-made report templates.
