    Surprisingly smooth productive

    Date: Jan 07 2024

Summary: However VNC was somehow "out of the news" for a decade meanwhile server proxy providers (any other remote access like TeamViewer, AnyDesk, GoToMyPC and others) it was the cheapest (for 3 remote PC) operating smoothly on wind and linux. No stuck-in key problems. Meanwhile VNC one of the first remote control technologies its own-network-or-vpn-is-necessary technology needed professionals to operate. With VNC Connect it is now as easy as others.

Positive: Small footprint as server or client.
Proven compression technology with many configurable options.
Also accessing other VNC servers on user network without license needed.
No stucked-in-key problem I faced on others.

Negative: No remote management options and corporate infrastructure governance.
Ad-hoc remote assistance (install-less server) is not in the cheapest plan but a minor license upgrade.
