    Website Monitoring Tool

    Date: Aug 16 2021

Summary: Good features, great UI. Overall great if you run a hosting and website design company. You can create custom reports and show off to your clients.

Positive: Able to monitor my clients websites by keyword, hosting and different ways. Able to create status reports. Receive sms and phone call is a site goes down. Great UI.

Negative: Sometimes I get notifications saying a site is down but it's not. It's a bit confusing to set up. I don't know what's happening when it gives me error code for some reason but website has not gone down.

Triumvirate of DevOps tools I enjoy using

    Date: Aug 09 2021

Summary: Uptime is a really helpful DevOps tool working as 3 services in one, replacing StatusCake, PagerDuty and statuspage.io in our case. It's intuitive and reports errors other services had missed.

Positive: Uptime is a reliable and complex solution for us. Great plus are the advanced escalation policies and heartbeats, checking if our background jobs get done.

Negative: I didn't really notice any big issues with the service's functionality. We'd appreciate Dark Mode, Telegram integration and some of the advanced features could be available on their lower-tier plans.

Great software combining three crucial tools

    Date: Apr 01 2021

Summary: We didn't know much about Uptime earlier, but after booking for a demo call with their CTO we were surprised how simply and seamlessly they combine monitoring, incident management and status pages in one product.

Long story short, we saved some time, money and nerves with this solution. Looking forward to see what other little smart ideas they come with in the future.

Positive: - HTTP and ping checks
    - heartbeat monitors checking execution of prescheduled tasks
    - sensitive incident detection rate
    - creates screenshots and response logs for incidents automatically
    - complex on-call schedule
    - status pages
    - domain expiration checks
    - surprisingly neat and knowledgeable support

Negative: - not all integrations are incorporated yet, but new ones are being coded on a regular basis
    - not a big fan of the chosen color palette
