Tosmana can be used for Qualitative Comparative Analysis. It can be used to calculate csQCA and mvQCA. Charles Ragin's website and the COMPASSS Research Group have more information about QCA. This software was developed in 2000. After several years of inconsistency, version 1.4 was released in June 2016. It marks the return to TOSMANA. In June 2016, a website reset was also performed. To include data in TOSMANA, you can simply copy data from a spreadsheet program. To do this, open the data set in your spreadsheet program. Copy all data cells in the data set. Be sure to include variable names in your first row. To import data from the clipboard, go to TOSMANA and select File>Import From Clipboard. The data will be loaded into the software and will replace any existing data. After successful import, save your file in the appropriate format.
