QDA Miner Lite, a free and simple version of our popular computer-assisted quantitative analysis software, is now available. It can be used to analyze textual data, such as interview transcripts and news transcripts, open ended responses, and so on. It can also be used to analyze still images. Import of plain text, RTF HTML, PDF, as well as data stored Excel, MS Access CSV, tab-delimited and text files. Import from other qualitative coding programs such as Atlas.ti and HyperResearch, Ethnograph as well as transcription tools like Transana or Transcriber, as well as Reference Information System (.RIS). files. You can add comments (or memos), to coded segments, cases or the entire project. Coding retrieval using Boolean (and/or, not) or proximity operators (includes. enclosed. near. before. after).
