    Summary: We have had a good experience but could be an excellent experience if time entry descriptions were not lost and had to be re-entered several times.

    Positive: Our employees and staff have given their feedback that the time entries are easy to handle, the program easily tracks number of hours, and you can use desktop or mobile versions.

    Negative: We have experienced loss of description entries many times and this issue continues.

    Mobile App Sync not working

    Summary: If ever I have another issue, I hope I'm able to get Joanne again to help or at least speak to someone like her.

    Positive: My rep was Joann Groninger. She was awesome!! My mobile app was not syncing, and it was stuck in the syncing mode for two days. Joanne immediately assessed the issue and got the technical team to look into it and she followed up with several phone calls to make sure she has all the information she needed to help move the issue forward. The next day when she called back and had me login to the mobile app it was fixed. I was more than happy with the attentiveness she gave this entire issue.

    Negative: None really - just the syncing issue which I believe they said was a bug.

    Fairly decent product for our needs

    Summary: For the most part it syncs well with QuickBooks and I can pull the reports I need for it. We are definitely going to continue to use it because it fits our needs and our clients needs.

    Positive: We use Time Tracker to tracker our time billed for our racing clients. For a while, I was using the basic product and just importing the time but then needed something more in depth to track expenses. It is a bit of an expense every month and I wish there were some discounts offered for the product.

    Negative: I don't like the expense every month for what I use and get for it. Sometimes the syncing from our employees devices does not always go through and we have to refresh everything.

    Best integrated time tracking software for QB invoicing

    Summary: Once it's set up, it works really slick! Hours come directly into QB and I can invoice the clients with confidence

    Positive: Employees can record billable hours. It syncs with QuickBooks and makes it easy to invoice clients.

    Negative: Set up could be a little more intuitive. Each time I add an employee I need to revisit the process.

    Great Billing Software for Solo Practitioners

    Summary: My overall experience with Time Tracker is very good and I would highly recommend it to any other solo practitioner.

    Positive: I like Time Tracker because it is very simple and easy to use. They also have GREAT customer service. Anytime I have a question, I just pick up the phone, get in touch right away and problem solved.

    Negative: They keep raising the price. As a solo practitioner, I am very careful with every cent I spend. I purchased Time Tracker because it is very affordable, but they keep increasing the price.

    Easy to use & Good Customer support

    Summary: I like the product - We thought of looking to switch since QB has their own now. But the price is about the same and the Customer service is just so much better than QB.

    Positive: It is very user friendly - not difficult to use or figure out
    Every time I have had to call the customer service - it is easy and useful - not on hold forever and I speak to someone that speaks good English that I can understand.

    Negative: A few little quirks - such as:
    - You don't know if it actually saves changes to Employee management area
    - Managers can see everybody's time card - not just who they manage.

    Customer Services is Lacking

    Summary: Overall our experience has been a lot of promises with very little follow through. The only reason we keep this program is because they hold our data and we like their spreadsheet-like entries. If we ever find another program with similar entry features we will transfer our business.

    Positive: I enjoy the simple time entry interface and per-day/per-week time entry viewing options. I appreciate the LawPay statement credit.

    Negative: For the last year or two we've been trying to secure a credit that was promised to our account but never applied. We've been asking for a few improvements but they have not been addressed. For example, changing $0 to NC on our invoices, automated text entries are not working, and we cannot add the LawPay payment link to the PDF Invoice. We have been told those improvements were possible and would be implemented, but they have not.

    Negative: Locks up often and often requires restarting the app. Sometimes timers run and can't be stopped by the employees. All users are using a desktop computer and no phone apps. We often run into employees not being able to login and start timers.

    TimeTracker is OK

    Summary: Like the title says, TimeTracker is OK. Frankly, though, if there was an easy path to transition from TT to something that looked comparable, we would be receptive to changing. The cost of change is really the only thing that keeps us from trying something else.

    Positive: I like that it "integrates" with our QuickBooks accounting software.
    I like that it is web based and accessible to our employees whenever, wherever.
    I like that it is straightforward and easy to navigate.
    Customer service is responsive.

    Negative: What I don't like is that the integration with QB is quirky. Things get "lost in translation" and take a lot of time working with the development team to get straightened out.

    You get what you pay for

    Summary: Overall the software works for the most part. There are all the bugs and issues we have had but it is working for what we need at the moment and is affordable but as soon as I can find another option to go with we may make the move, even if it costs us more money

    Positive: The price is great and it says it is DCAA-compliant. It works to get setup for tracking time and as they say, you get what you pay for.

    Negative: Constant issues with billing where people who were removed as employees and had their seat/license revoked are being added back into a seat/license and still being billed for.

    Constant software updates and patches that are pushed out that overwrite your settings like adding new employees and the defaults aren't applied, adding a project in QuickBooks and when it syncs, it is pushed to people who don't have access to all customers. or like what just happened, Auto-Sync has always been enabled since day 1 and now all of a sudden, it hadn't synced for 15 days.

    Chatting with customer support on the phone or through the chat feature can be a chore as they don't always listen to what you are telling them. This has been an issue on multiple ocassions
