Summary: Very happy have had it for nearly 10 years and just moved to the cloud.
Support was great in the move with no loss of emails.

Positive: Very easy to use this product.

Negative: Would like to be able to block enveloped addresses.
Interface could do with a facelift.

Summary: Overall, the filter is great, we can quickly apply global settings to all users makes it easy to whitelist email addresses/domains. Easy for our end users to understand and use.

Positive: Easy to setup and configure.
Easy web interface to manage user or global settings.
Priced well, cheaper than most competitors.
End user friendly.

Negative: I wish the filter would be finer tuned, we have had to make a fair bit of changes to get it to catch some spam that was getting through. Also, some type of spam just gets through no matter what you do.

Summary: Great solution that I would recommend to anyone that likes ease of use on a daily basis. I have come to trust this, and know exactly where to go & what to do when needed.

Positive: I like that it is always reliable and is easy for administrators to use. We have not had any data breaches when utilizing this solution!

Negative: I would like to have the ability to see/open attachments (sandboxing), as some of our employees ask what is attached to an email in order to verify its credibility.

Summary: Great, my company had spam issues and they are taken care of. We are satisfied and will probably use Titan for a long while.

Positive: - It works

- Support is good (during starting up and afterwards)
- I like the reports that check part of the mail to be sure its labelled spam correctly. We lost no ham due to mislabeling as spam.

Negative: I honestly have not experienced a downside yet. We love it.

Summary: We have been using SpamTitan since August 2021, and we have been very impressed with its performance. It has significantly reduced the amount of spam and malicious emails that reach our users, and it has been very easy to use and manage.

One of the biggest benefits of SpamTitan is that it is very easy to set up and deploy. The on-boarding team at TitanHQ was excellent, and they provided us with all the support we needed to get started. The user-facing interface is also very easy to use, and it allows managers to extend certain levels of self-management to users. For example, users can allow and whitelist trusted emails on their own, and they can also block known threats. This level of customization is very helpful, and it allows us to tailor the security experience to our specific needs.

The security threshold settings in SpamTitan are also very robust. We have been able to find a good balance between blocking spam and malicious emails without blocking legitimate emails. However, we have found that it is important to be mindful of the number of email aliases and shared mailboxes that we use. SpamTitan's pricing structure is based on email address as opposed to user, so if you have a user with many email aliases, it can increase your costs. We would like to see TitanHQ change their pricing structure to a user-based model, as this would be more cost-effective for medium to large businesses.

Overall, we highly recommend SpamTitan to any business that is looking for a reliable and effective email spam filter. It has been a great investment for us, and it has helped us to improve our overall security posture.

Positive: • Spam blocking: SpamTitan has been very effective at blocking spam emails. We have seen a marked decrease in the amount of spam that reaches our users since we started using SpamTitan.
• Malicious email blocking: SpamTitan has also been very effective at blocking malicious emails, such as phishing emails and malware-infected emails. This has helped to protect our users from a variety of cyber threats.
• Ease of use: SpamTitan is very easy to use and manage. The user-facing interface is clear and concise, and the administration console is powerful and flexible.
• Customer support: TitanHQ's customer support has been excellent. We have been able to get help quickly and easily whenever we have needed it.

Negative: SpamTitan's pricing structure is based on email address as opposed to number of users. If you have a user with many email aliases, it can increase your costs. We would like to see TitanHQ change their pricing structure to a user-based model, as this would be more cost-effective for medium to large businesses.

Summary: Very positive - good customer service, great tools, easy to use for me and my small team. Their sales --> customer support handoff was clean and easy too.

Positive: I love the incredibly speedy customer service. I've never had to call and wait for someone to get to me.

Negative: Nothing at the time - this is keeping us totally safe!

Summary: For any MSP looking for a solution that is fundamentally geared towards protecting end users this is the right solution for you. With the other applications offered, a broad security solution is available to protect your clients.

Positive: The ease of setup, integration, and deployment is remarkable. Administration is very low and security policies are easily created. You can be up and running in minutes. This solution fits into any security stack. I rate it as a must have.

Negative: There is not much to say here. The product is solid.

Summary: We are very happy with SpamTitan. We use a cluster of SpamTitan servers as part of the company's spam blocking strategy in a multi level approach and it is very cost effective and performs well at eliminating spam from out networks.

Positive: Easy to install.
Supports clustering.
Detects and blocks spam effectively.
Works well with Microsoft Exchange.

Negative: New version updating could be improved. Feature and maintenance updates is handles well by the system. In some cases with major version upgrades the old version need to be removed annually, this in my opinion can and should be improved.

Summary: SpamTitan does its job rather well safeguarding your emails service in an environment where threats and malicious intent is always evolving.

Negative: I have not yet identified any cons in my lengthy use of SpamTitan.

Summary: I like working with the SpamTitan product. I can support my clients well, and manage the domains separately. SpamTitan is cost effective.

Positive: I am an MSP (Manage Service Provider), and I have to look a look at many solutions, and SpamTitan came out tops. Easy to use, easy to support, clients can block their own spam. All-round great product.

Negative: Support is a bit slow, but they do get back to you. Would love a contact number to phone in or online chat.

Summary: I am Using SpamTitan from Last 3 Years and it is very effective in blocking Phishing, viruses and spams attack, Support team is very technical and understanding in problem solving.

Positive: Ease of Use.

Negative: GUI Need to be Comprehensive and should summarized all of inflow and outflow of messages.

Summary: GFI released a patch for Mailessentials, which killed my server's performance. SpamTitan to the rescue, 100%. I could only be happier if I could run the onsite version directly on a Windows server as a service, instead of being a VM.

Positive: Extremely easy to implement, Offsite spooling in case of internet failure, It simply works. The rule setup is comprehensive, and is working well for us. When GFI let me down, TitanHQ had my back.

Negative: Documentation and setup instructions are lacking. It's easy to implement, but there's no "Do this for your users" instructions. You just kind of have to figure it out yourself then create your own documentation. With no knowledge of the system, getting users logging into their own quarantine page was a bit of a mystery. With the cloud based product, there's no addin for Outlook that works as "Mark this as spam", you have to manually add things to your inbound rules if you want to block them. That being said, once your start deleting your quarantine, it does seem to possibly be building some sort of bayesian database that starts catching more things you don't want to see.

Summary: When it comes to software, service and support is what makes the balance tip one way or the other. Whenever I had issues, even if they were just my own ignorance of the subjects, support has always been generous in their help and answers. They do not just send you a link to a lengthy web page and consider they did their job, SpamTitan tech support gives you actual precise procedure and will give you enough data so you understand what is going on. Just that to me makes SpamTitan a good investment. We as NW admins don't have a lot of time and issues have to be resolved fast. So I will always search for enterprise that has good fast and efficient support. Also, the control panel is just that much more important, learning the SpamTitan control panel takes no time and in seconds I can do my daily jobs with it. Hats to the IT engineers and support technicians!

Positive: Ease of use - Real people in support that don't take weeks to answer - very flexible options to block various aspect of spam, spoofing etc, while it it impossible to block 100% of spam, they do a fairly good job.

Negative: Gmail spam has increased tremendously over the last year, while these are very hard to detect without closing the door to good Gmail emails, anything along the line of sniffing these out would be good.

Summary: Overall, SpamTitan is highly effective and economical way to fight against phishing and spambots. Its automated algorithm filters out every potential threat before reaching my email inbox.

Positive: Configuration with email was super easy and time-saving. Its filter bot deletes every suspicious email without any manual effort. You can also customize the filter bot as per threat level. It can also be integrated with Office365 suites.

Negative: No major downside I feel about the Spam Titan platform.
